Video Convert-Video Converter App Reviews
This app allows you to change the format of the original video that needs to be converted. Some videos appear as 4:3 when they are actually 16:9 and this app allows you to change the size before conversion for a lot less money than other conversion apps. This could be improved by allowing it as a default instead of making the user change it manually for every clip which is especially tedious when you are converting 200 clips at a time. It also has a few other issues. When dragging and dropping clips, it doesnt capture them all and you have to keep checking because It seems to have a limit as to how many you can drag and drop at a time. For the price it does a terrific job of conversion at a reasonable speed for use of old Mpg files into files that can be used in iMovie.
The Lite version worked great except it puts a less than subtle watermark in the middle of the screen. It converted the .mov file to .wmv correctly so I purchased the full version which does not work. The watermark is gone but so is the picture. There is also no way to specify the filename you want the converted file to have. The sound came out great though. How do I get my money back.

this is a very nice app! the only thing missing is the ability to de-interlace, but as it is, it performs very well.
Excellent Program
Performs perfectly. Well worth the modest price. No learning curve ... just drag, drop and proess one video or a batch.
NoGo
For the life of me I've tried converting, a .MOV, to every format inside this software and then tried to play it in a DVD player at my entertainment center with no luck. Don't spend your hard earned $$$ on this one!
Simple to use
A friend asked me to do a slideshow for her son's funeral. The slideshow needed to be converted to play on the DVD. I bought Video Convert-Video Converter and it works great. Simple and easy to use.
Apparently does what it advertises
I say apparently because while it encodes tracks in the desired format, it is *extremely* slow at doing so. A simple DVD rip took over 90 minutes to finish. And this on a Core i9 MacBook Pro. At least it works.
Life Saver!!
Compressor did not work when i tried converting to a file that would play on a PC. This worked like a charm. Love the fact that it had a fixed price and they didn't try to rape me month after month. Love it!!
This app worked...when others didn't!
Twice, I've used this app to successfully convert very flaky, unstable DVDs to mp4 videos when other conversion apps failed on the same DVD's. It's now my go-to DVD video conversion app!

This app is very easy to use and self explanatory especially for me who is a novice when it comes to converting videos.
Attempted to export a DVD file to MP4
I attempted to export a DVD file to /MP4 format. I followed the prompts to export. The program displayed a progress bar and when the process was done the .mp4 file was nowhere to be found. I tried looking for directions but there are none. I did a google search for this problem and other people have also searched for this issue but the google search results do not pertain to this program and were unhelpful. I wasted $5.00 on this program.
Perfect for Converting Home DVD to mp4 files
This is a perfect app for easily converting home made DVDs to mp4 files to preserve family video archives. It is very easy to use with Drop/Drag of DVD into the app and has automated smart settings so there is no technical knowledge needed. There is no resolution lost in making the conversion which is better than some of the other apps I tried. Also the conversion is reasonably fast which is a big plus when converting multiple DVDs.
PRODUCER/DIRECTOR/EDITOR
I have spent countless of hours looking and trying out video converters for my Final Cut project. Nothing worked until I tried the PRO CONVERTER. So simple to use and works great on final cut. I couldn’t believe the cost! I tried it out and wham! It’s all I need for my WEB-TV project. All thumbs up and thank you!
Great
I had many adobe tutorials in .mov format that would not play on Mac Mojave. Easily and quickly converted the .mov's in batch mode to MP4 for playback. Playback video and audio was very good.

Downloaded it to convert an mp4 to mov. The application is non-functional. Avoid it.

Buyer beware

Video Convertor Pro
I hate the fact that when using the Lite version you are faced with a watermark that deems your video unusable, and therefore forced to buy the full version. With that remark aside, I am very pleased with this product. I have converted many factory dvd’s to digital format and love it. I am still figuring out all of the bells and whistles but am pleased overall. However, it is way overpriced.
